I’m starting to feel some semblance of actually being settled here. Sarah started her full-time “real job” at ArtCraft printers today, I’m freelancing for the Eureka Times-Standard, school is in full swing and I’m (mostly) engaged with it, we’re venturing out to church and a Bible study, we’re Costco members (?), and we know how to get around town. But we’ll be leaving this town fairly soon, if all goes well. It’s weird.

My registration for next semester is a little messed up, but I may be able to substitute some classes for ones that I’m not able to take…more on that “exciting” story as it unfolds…

These next two weeks are the “Campus Dialogue on Race” at HSU; hopefully we’ll be able to make it to some events.

Sarah grew up in Colorado but considers herself a Chinese-Malaysian-English-American. Her favorite thing to do is read in bed, or some sunny spot on a couch.

Nothing like a Costco membership to make you feel like a grown up…

It’s good to read you’re getting settled, and I’m happy to know you have a full-time job, Sarah.

      I miss you two.
