We had a great time visiting friends in Seattle & Portland! It was a great relief from the drudgery of “real life” and a wonderful time of getting together and seeing what everyone was up to. Plus, the whole trip pretty much revolved around eating meals with friends, and you can’t go wrong with that premise!

Here are some highlights and fun pictures.

The beautiful panorama of Seattle with Mount Rainier floating in the background. This was taken from our old neighborhood, Magnolia.

    Buskers at the original Starbucks.
The bass player’s bass was made out of recycled car parts, which was pretty amazing.

Our friends from church: Chris, Nicole & SuJ’n chillin’ at a picnic

We had dinner with Joel’s parents, Jane & Kevin, at one of our favorite places: the Malay Satay Hut (the place that catered our wedding dinner)

Here’s Becky explaning something in vivid detail with her hands:

Pallin’ around in Portland: Nathan & Christy, me & Joel, and the back of Kevin’s head (a very handsome shot, I’d have to say)

The Portland Rose Garden – this time around we visited when the roses were actually in bloom and the whole place had a wonderfully peaceful perfumed feel.

Looks like you had quite the time in Seattle/Portland. I noticed you visited with your friends Nathan and Kevin.

Does this mean that the Dandelion Method may be getting back together? They were one of the greatest bands to Jazzer-size to.

      I especially like to Jazzer-size to D.O.O.M.E. or F.A.B.R.I.C.

Jazzer-size to the limit, everyone to the limit, come-on everyone lets Jazzer-size!

      Your Friend,
      Richard

Richard Simmons, we are so honored that you are commenting on our blog. You were so inspiring in “Supersweating Party off the Pounds” and “Richard Simmons and the Silver Foxes.” Thank you for gracing your jazzer-thighs on this humble blog.
