• Staving away the stir-crazy

    Well, the winter rains have hit the north coast pretty hard and we’ve been confined to indoor activities for the past month or so. That included rearranging our living/dining room area, and Sarah fulfilled her desire for a table large enough to have guests over for dinner last weekend without bumping elbows by building a table out of spare parts. The table itself is made out of a salvaged door, and the legs were originally from a bannister. The total cost for all the supplies were about $30–much cheaper probably than purchasing a regular dinner table!
