Hello. We’re going to try and revive the site as Joel is going to be leaving for China this Thursday! He will be first stopping in Beijing for a conference before moving on to Ningbo for several months doing research for his dissertation. Wish him safe travels!

In the meantime, I (Sarah) will be here in Vancouver holding down the fort, then joining Joel in November for some time travelling around China, after which we will be visiting family in the UK.

We’ll try to keep you posted more often as life continues on…

Sarah grew up in Colorado but considers herself a Chinese-Malaysian-English-American. Her favorite thing to do is read in bed, or some sunny spot on a couch.

      Joel – how is China?

Sarah – you mentioned in your blog that you’ll be doing some “time traveling” – that’s amazing! Can you you teach me how to time travel… I’d go back and re-live the glory days of making music with the D-method in your and Joel’s basement.

        Hi Matt!

Good to hear from you! to answer your question: do you know about the popular novel and movie “The Time Traveller’s Wife?” Well it’s nothing like that.

Hey Matt, we’ll let you know when we get the time travelling up and running.

I’ve been listening to old D-Meth live recordings on my walks in the sweltering evening heat…so great (and bittersweet) to hear. We really were a pretty good band!

I have a plan to start a band in Vancouver when I get back. Can’t wait. It’s going to be with a guy named Matt, who reminds me of Andrew. Dude.
